Biography

Louis-Paul Rivest is a statistician renowned for his contributions to dependence modeling, survey methodology, directional statistics and capture-recapture techniques. Founder of the Statistical Consulting Service, he is interested in the use of statistical methods in a wide range of fields, including ecology, epidemiology and biostatistics.
